Tanks can be built from a variety of materials (Steel, Galvanized Steel, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Fiberglass, Fiber-Reinforced Plastic, etc.) and are typically equipped with flanged nozzles, top vents and manways. Heating coils (internal, external half-pipe, external plate), heating jackets, insulation, and instrumentation can be added as needed. Heating coil calculations can be made for virtually any heating medium, hot water, steam, hot oil, etc.
